.A Sigh of Relief

My tummy is nice and full after a bowl of chunky soup, grilled cheese, and chocolate milk. T'was a nice change from my usual ramen noodle and hotdogs.

Also, it feels good to have my new server up and running after a long time of trying to figure out problems with it. http://www.virtenu.com

In other news, school is almost done, going to the art center tomorrow for a class, should be pretty fun! I'm an art nerd, I know.

Spencer gets home tomorrow, that should be fun as well. Having everyone coming back home for the summer is going to be so much fun. I missed them all very much. It is hard to believe it has already been a year since we graduated... Crazy.

In other other news, God rocks, and nothing feels better to be where he wants you doing what he wants you to do.

Thanks for reading my rants for those who do. Comments are always welcome!

God bless,

Like violence you kill me, forever and after.

Sort of a sad day to start the week off. Switched everything back to my old server because of problems no one can seem to help me solve. Realized I only ate 2 meals all weekend (not counting snacks), but I guess that's the college life...

Was talking with my friend today about the lack of women in our lives... and we joked about it a little... But Saturday as I was filming a wedding I saw the couple and how in love with each other they were, and you could just see it in their eyes as they danced their first dance, and the many after that...

So I'm not saying I want a girlfriend right now, I don't think I could handle that. I don't feel spiritually fit to lead someone. But loneliness factor is always lingering, and it's hard. Pray for me.

May 1st - Digg Revolt

It is happening as I speak, the entire front page is loaded with the recent hex decimal number the encrypts HD DVD discs. Digg tried to censor them, and now we revolt.

wikipedia article on the event: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDDVD_Night (removed 11:00ish) (now up again)

song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9HaNbsIfp0

chat: http://geekchat.net/gcbasic-cp-version/

Piratebay knows whats up

Digg this page!! http://digg.com/tech_news/May_1st_Digg_Revolt_This_will_certainly_be_felt_around_the_net_tomorrow

10:30ish no more stories reaching the front page. at all.

10:49 most things on rededit are about digg censorship.

10:53 can no longer submit to digg "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading."

11:02 first fresh story to hit the page in a long time was buried in just a few moments.

11:06 still cant submit anything, last submittion 32 min ago.

11:08 numbers of votes seem to go up and down by large amounts... have been for awhile.

11:10 submit back up!

11:15 the mass of stories again floods the queue

11:17 Wikipedia locks the HD DVD article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HD-DVD)

11:21 apparently the number is alive, and created a myspace: http://www.myspace.com/09f911029d74e35bd84156c56

11:24 wiki page about tonight back up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDDVD_Night

11:25 the stories are getting to the front page again!

11:33 the wikipedia article shows "This page has been deleted, and protected to prevent re-creation."

11: 45 1,800 Members Reached on facebook group!

11:47 Article on slashdot: http://yro.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/05/02/0235228

11:57 things are beginning to get out of hand... the point has been made

12:04 when diggers do something, they do it right, and with a loud voice. the riot continues

12:12 you can watch on digg labs as they delete stories...

12:15 this is exploding.

12:52 same old stuff happening, I'm calling it quits for the night. One thing is for sure, we won.

You can read in the comments what happened after I stopped watching.

I returned this morning to find this as the top dugg story: http://blog.digg.com/?p=74
